GlucoNovex has a number of advantages compared to other sulfonylurea derivatives:

• rapid onset and long duration of action with a wide therapeutic maneuver (single dose during the day)
• possibility of using smaller dosages
• significantly less frequent episodes of hypoglycemic conditions, including during physical activity
• the presence of additional effects not related to the hypoglycemic effect, such as a positive effect on lipid metabolism and microblood flow
